Bay View, Mawgan Porth

This was a new build, investment property that we dressed for our client ready to be rented out as a luxury holiday home. Location has an enormous bearing on how we approach our interiors and this property was no exception. Situated on the coastal road down to Mawgan Porth, the property had an enviable location but no sea views, so we were able to choose a heavy Scandi feel, interwoven with lots of boho patterns and textures, so maintaining a focus on the interior.  

We used bold shapes with an almost industrial feel in the open plan living area, softened by a series of throws and furs. The addition of a large feature mirror gave depth to the space where a grey-blue palette was evocative of the beach beyond. Texture came in the form of some incredible wall hangings and dimensional lighting.
