The Bay, Cawsands

Once an old hotel, and now a set of luxury apartments, this development has a toes-in-the-water position. Our project was a duplex apartment that we furnished ready for luxury rental and as a family holiday home. We wanted to make the most of its waterside location – the water laps below the property – and so focused on opening up the balcony to give the feel of being on the bow of a boat. 

The client was Scandinavian, and so the furnishings we chose reflected this connection. We used bold furnishings and colours to add character and depth. It was essential to utilise all of the space to its maximum potential, which was especially apparent in the bunk room. With two teenage boys, the client designed their own beds with storage; they had a clear vision of what they wanted to achieve, which we helped to realise.
